Epson L805
The Epson L805 Single Function Printer is an affordable, compact and energy efficient device marketed by one of the leading manufacturers in the industry. The highlight of this printer is its energy efficiency as it consumes only 12 watts while printing, 3.3 watts while ready and 1.2 watts in sleep mode for which it has qualified for ENERGY STAR rating. The printer can function at the power supply in the range of AC 100-240 Volts at 50-60 Hz.
Design
This printer has a compact design and is lightweight for which it offers space economy and portability. The dimensions of the printer are 547x289x187 mm in terms of width, depth, and height. Its overall weight is 6kg. The noise level is extremely low that dispenses with noise pollution and irritation at only 36-51 decibels. The Epson L805 is compatible with major operating systems as well as paper sizes. It is compatible with mobile operating system that facilitates mobile printing without requiring network facilities. Software included in the system are Epson easy photo printing software as well as print CD. The printer is available in black color. It has one paper tray with 120 sheets paper and 20 sheets photo capacity. Output tray has the capacity of 50 sheets.
A set of six individual 70ml Epson ink bottles are included – black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta – giving you great value for money. Each set of high-capacity ink bottles can print up to 1,800 high quality 10 x 15cm photos, delivering an ultra-low cost per photo.
Processor and Memory
Processor speed of the printer is 1.2 GHz and the system memory is in the range of 128-256 MB. Additionally, you can use the hard disk drive.
Print Performance
For printing, the device uses Piezo electric on demand inkjet printing technology and its nozzle configuration is 90 nozzles black as well as 90 nozzles per color. The minimum droplet size is 1.4 pl. Printing speed of the printer is 37 pages per minute and print resolution is 5760x1440 DPI. Photo printing speed is 12 seconds per 10x15 cm photos. For printing it supports A4, A5, A6, B5 and envelopes.
Connectivity
For standard connectivity, the printer has USB ports and it is also Ethernet 10/100/1000 TX network enabled. You can optionally use the wireless connectivity. The printer easily connects with most mobile devices that are NFC enabled and it is just a matter of soft touch printing from a host of smartphones and tablets.
