You also don’t have to worry about blurry footage thanks to camera’s built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization feature with intelligent Active Mode you get clear footage. The optical image stabilization feature compensates for greater degrees of camera shake by delivering smooth video from wide angle to full telephoto shooting.
2.7-in Clear Photo LCD Display
A clear display allows you to compose your shots easily. The camcorder has a 2.7 inch clear photo LCD display with a resolution of 230K. It allows you to customize and change settings easily to best represent the scene even when shooting outdoors.

A Zoom of your Own

The powerful processor compares patterns found in adjacent pixels and creates new pixels to match selected patters, resulting in more realistic higher quality images. Clear image zoom doubles optical zoom for closer video recording.
Connectivity Features
The Sony HDR-CX 405 HD HandyCam is equipped with a built in USB 2.0 cable that provides connection to your computer for charging and file transfer. It also fits conveniently into the hand strap, so it is out of the way until you need it. The camera accepts a rechargeable x type battery pack for power.
